Garður was built in 1934 in an agricultural area, rich in precious hot water.
The house itself is arranged in Scandinavian style, furnished with simplicity and functionality in mind. We provide all necessary amenities, so your stay is comfortable and refreshing (because you will need your energy for more adventures tomorrow!).
The idea of transforming this beautifully located house into a guesthouse was born out of the need of the heart. This house is related to over 100 years of history of ancestors who, using the benefits of hot water, grew vegetables in the area.
We hope this will be an amazing stop on your Icelandic journey.

Garður Stay Inn is located next to the oldest pool in Iceland, Secret Lagoon. 25 km away from Gullfoss and Geysir, right in Golden Circle.
Spacious, open, and free parking is available 24h for guests of both places. You don’t need a 4×4 car to reach us, even in winter.
Secret Lagoon, located within short walking distance, will help you relax, rest, and get ready for a new adventure in Iceland.
